Van Buren's Liberty

I just got this in the mail, paid $539 for slabbed MS69. I snapped a few pics for you all to enjoy.

I grabbed one up. I don't think they are going to get any cheaper.

According to mint statistics as of Jan 20th, total mintage for the Van Buren Liberty coin is: Uncirculated - 2360, Proof - 4271. With a mintage that low, I don't know why more people aren't aware that this series has the potential to become very rare in the coming years.

Just out of curiosity, why would the Mint mint more proof's than uncirculateds?

The numbers they mint are whatever they get orders for. More people ordered proofs.
